E!’s The Soup, or its previous iteration has long run as a staple of pop culture commentary, but it seems Joel McHale might be out of a job once more. The network has decided to send back The Soup after 22 seasons and 12 years of McHale as host, effectively ending the franchise, at least for the moment.

Earlier this week we saw what might prove to be the (yellow) king of 'True Detective' parodies, but the latest to emerge on HBO's buzzworthy drama is at least a close second.
