According to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, after last week's mobile meth lab bust in Ellsworth, the MDEA's Downeast District Task Force and Clandestine Drug Laboratory Enforcement Team (CDLET) found a suspicious device in one of the labs not consistent with Methamphetamine manufacturing that led to assistance from the Maine State Police Bomb Squad.

Three Aroostook County residents are in jail after police found ingredients for the manufacturing of methamphetamines in two vehicles at a hotel in Ellsworth, Maine.

The Ellsworth Police Department received several calls of a large bear wandering around Elm and Water streets, a residential area in downtown Ellsworth. A dispatcher called the Maine Warden Service.
