Jake Owen is counting down the days until he becomes a new father. Owen and his wife, Lacey Buchanan -- who married in a seaside wedding in Vero Beach, Fla. in May -- are expecting their first baby, a daughter, in November.

Jason Aldean tried his hand at rapping in country songs and found great success. Colt Ford has made a country career out of it. But they're not the only ones in the genre with the chops to spit rhymes. At a concert in Maryland recently, Jake Owen showed off his skills by rapping the entire 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' theme song.

The very nature of the EP lends itself more to an artist's most faithful supporters than middling fans looking for an entry point into a new style or sound. Jake Owen's 'Endless Summer' EP allows his warm weather party with Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw to last a little longer, but like summer love, the four songs will be little more than memories by the first yellow leaves of fall.
