The NFL football season is down to it's final four and let's hope it lives up to the excitement from last weekends divisional playoff games. My predictions before the season started had the 49ers and Patriots in the Superbowl. San Francisco and New England are both in their championship games, but will I change my predictions?
The Atlanta Falcons nearly suffered an epic collapse before rallying, and the New England Patriots continued their dominance. Here's a recap of Sunday's NFL playoff games:
Bye weeks begin as the NFL enters its fourth week of the 2012 season. Here's a preview of all of this week's action:
As opening day gets closer, the New England Patriots are getting down to a 53 man roster. Today they made some surprising cuts of veterans. Among those let loose, was former Super Bowl MVP, wide reciever Deion Branch. Also, long time center Dan Koppen was given his walking papers. as was back-up QB Brian Hoyer and safety James Ihedigbo.
I took on the AFC in part one of Andy's Football Preview, now here's my take on the NFC.
Let's start in the east. The New York Giants are the defending Superbowl Champions and will be very solid again this season. The Dallas Cowboys, might have lost their TE Jason Whitten, which could be a very big loss for them. Washington always seems to have a good defense and running game and with the addition of rookie QB Robert Griffin III, they'll be exciting to watch and the Eagles look solid all around. I'll take the Eagles first, followed by the Giants, Cowboys and Redskins.
