FISHING!
What better way to get the kids out of the house, off their video games and out of the junk food? Spending time with your kids is easy!
It was a great turnout at Little Fenway in Oakland on Thursday when the four T-Ball teams gathered to play their last game of the summer.
And next year, Anderson moves up to the Cal Ripken Little League!
He crept into our room yesterday morning at 5am and whispered "Mama, just wanted to tell you we have our field trip today."
Can you tell he was excited?
And who could blame him. So was I!
They have been training for a while and today they receive their official "license" to serve!
Fourteen police officers and their dogs graduate from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy starting at 10am today. One of those graduates is close to my heart!

Being a Mom is incredible. You have experiences you never thought you would have and you wish you could remember each and every one of them.
I had one of those such moments yesterday.
Yesterday, I picked up Anderson from school and I told him we needed to stop by Yankee Trophy and pick up the Teacher of the Year trophy. They share the facility with The Fun Park. Well, of course, when we pull in, all I hear is "Can we play golf, Mama? PLEASE??? This is something we can do together...just me and you."
How can I say NO to that?
We bought a trampoline from a woman who was moving and couldn't take it with her. We inspected it to make sure it was in good condition. Then we had to figure out how to get it home!
How did we do it?
We here at B98.5 have been tuning into the Biodiversity Research Institute Eagle Cam they have in Brookfield, Maine. Every week we look for an update on the two chicks and they have been getting bigger. It's so soothing. It's been amazing to see these little birds grow. We named them Tut Tut and Fifi.
But there is now some sad news.
It's not really rocket science...but it IS science!
I was at Lux Salon in Hallowell getting my hair done by Olivia when we started talking about wedding plans and flowers.
