Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan Together Again
Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks will reunite, sort of, for their fourth movie together. Ryan will make her directorial debut and Hanks will be the executive producer. The film, Ithaca, focuses on life in a small California town during World War II.
Hanks and Ryan paired in the movies Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail and Volcano. In Ithaca Hanks will have a cameo appearance but that's all. The film will also star Sam Shepard, Melanie Griffith and Meg’s son Jack Quaid.
The film is from the novel ‘The Human Comedy' from 1943 and was made into a film starring Mickey Rooney.
