Two Maine schools made their list. College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor was ranked 14th best and The University of Maine’s Orono campus was ranked 6th best. Each of the Maine schools were hurt by their affordability, with net costs of over $16,000 per year.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill topped the list.
