Before just about every 2016 Olympics race, whether it be a medal or qualifying swim, swimmer Michael Phelps is shown getting in the zone with a pair of headphones locked on his ears. So, what’s he listening to? Phelps has a steady stream of a mix of songs from Eminem, Young Jeezy and a more recent addition, Eric Church. Phelps has gone country with songs in his catalogue from Church like “Drink in My Hand,” “The Outsiders,” “Creepin'”.

Wanna feel old? Thirteen years ago Tuesday that was a big day for Alan Jackson. It was on August 9, 2003 that his duet with Jimmy Buffett, “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” hit the top of the charts, where it stayed for eight weeks.

 

 

Brothers Osborne have announced plans for their first-ever headlining tour. John and TJ Osborne will hit the road for the Dirt Rich Tour during the upcoming fall and winter. The Osbornes’ trek is set to kick off in Rosemont, Ill., on Sept. 22, making stops in dozens of cities throughout the U.S. — and one date in Canada — before wrapping up in Orlando, Fla., in the middle of January. Nowhere near Maine though.

 

Dierks Bentley will be on hand to help launch the upcoming NFL season. He will perform live during the 2016 NFL Kickoff on Sept. 8. NBC is celebrating the start of the NFL season with a 60-minute pre-game show live from Mile High Stadium in Denver. The program will launch the season-opening game between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos in a rematch of Super Bowl 50.
