Luke Combs is certainly having a great night ... The "When It Rains It Pours" singer has taken home New Artist of the Year at the 2018 CMA Awards! This year's other nominees for the prestigious honor included Lauren AlainaChris JansonMidland and Brett Young.

"Whoa," Combs said from stage, before telling his mom and dad, who were in the audience at Bridgestone Arena, "I love you, wherever you're at."

Nicole, I love you too," Combs added, nodding to his girlfriend. "Everybody that believed in me, everybody in this room for inspiring me. God I love country music, man."

Combs is riding the high of his wildly successful debut album, This One's for You, and its deluxe reissue, This One's for You Too. The "She Got the Best of Me" singer will begin his headlining Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour in January, with Lanco and Jameson Rodgers opening.
