According to WGME 13, a Maine man is in custody following a Tuesday incident involving a high-speed chase with a motorcycle.

WGME reports that deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office attempted to pull over a motorcycle that was passing several vehicles at the same time.

The rider refused to stop for police and led them on a chase. Eventually, the rider crashed the motorcycle into a car on a road in Standish and that's where the chase ended.

Police then took Randall Howard, 21 of Lewiston, into custody.

He was transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland for injuries sustained in the crash and is facing several charges once he is released from the hospital, WGME reported.
