Country News: Daryle Singletary Passes Away

Country artist Daryle Singletary died Monday (Feb 12) at the age of 46. Many country stars like Charlie Daniels and Luke Combs payed their respect via social media. Singletary’s career got a kick start when Randy Travis recorded a song he wrote, An Old Pair of Shoes. Theboot.com tells us Singletary released seven albums with his latest, There’s Still a Little Country Left, released in 2015.

Luke Bryan announced his most recent album , What Makes You Country, will be released on vinyl. It’s a 14 track record and will hit the stores on March 9. There is a bonus track on the record titled ‘I Can’t Even.’ Theboot.com says his latest single ‘Most People Are Good’ is on the album.

Willie Nelson is recovering just fine from his bout with the flu. On theboot.com Nelson’s son Lukas says his dad is doing well. Lukas says Nelson is doing much better and resting in Maui and is up and about and looking as healthy as ever. His doctor says Nelson still needs a couple of more weeks for his voice to heal.
