So much is changing and so fast and communities and groups are deciding what to do with their summer events…well…the City of Augusts wants to have its traditional 4th of July outside events for 2021!

Last week was a bit of a whirlwind with the State of Maine updating its masking and distancing guidelines, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention then announcing their new guidelines, and the state of Maine updating the guidelines yet again after the CDC did their thing.

The City of Augusta was already looking at its options when the change came along. According to centralmaine.com they are still in the planning process and still considering what details or changes may be necessary to keep people as safe as possible.

So mark your calendars for July 4th and know there will be some fun stuff happening in the capital city.
