Last month Jessica Garsed, an Augusta based medical librarian won $53,000 on Jeopardy. It could have been $54,600 but she got one question wrong. However, that question has lead to a $1600 donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine at Garsed's request.

The $1600 question was:

Nebraska’s Alan Simon made his fortune with mailable beef from this company.

To which she replied:

Omaha Steak

Unfortunately, she left off the "s" which the judges penalized her for, meaning she lost the 1600.

WGMEthe senior vice president of Omaha Steaks, Todd Simon said

“We thought this was a great opportunity to have some fun, and at the same time, do something important."
