By the looks of these past few days of Spring and just how hot it has been, this Summer is going to be a scorcher. And what better way to cool down on a hot sunny summer day than jumping into a nice cool pool with all of your friends.

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Augusta Parks and Recreation - Maine decided not to open the City of Augusta's Public Pools in 2020 to keep everyone as safe and as distant as possible.

There have been many people wondering if Augusta's Public Pools would be open for the upcoming Summer of 2021, and it seems as if that will be the case. According to a Facebook post made by the Augusta Parks and Recreation - Maine, the city pools will open for the season on Tuesday, June 22nd. Hours of operation will be Tuesday thru Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm.
