
Augusta Police, Maine DEA, & Maine State Police Arrest Three in Tuesday Drug Raid
If you are a follower of the Augusta area Facebook groups, there is a good chance that you have seen the photos and videos of Tuesday's drug raid on a home on River Street.
We now have official details about what happened.
According to a press release from the Augusta Police Department, members of the Augusta Police Department, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, the Maine State Police, and the ATF were involved in executing a search warrant at a 53 River Street home.
The press release says, in part:
There has been an on-going investigation into the illegal sale and distribution of illicit narcotics. Three persons have been arrested during the execution of this warrant. Scott Cogswell a 56-year-old male from Augusta, Tymberlin Peaslee a 21-year-old male from Augusta, and Todd Spencer a 34-year-old male from Augusta were all arrested for outstanding warrants.
The press release goes on to say that an undisclosed amount of contraband and weapons were seized.

Cogswell, Spencer, and Peaslee are all being held at the Kennebec County Jail in Augusta.
