Central Maine Will Get a Taste of Spring This Week
Even though it is nothing like what we had for winters back in the 80s and 90s, this winter has still been a tough one.
We just aren't used to the amount of snow and the number of frigid days that we have gotten over the last few months. Yes, we normally get one or two big storms, but we have had a lot more significant storms this winter than we have for the last few years.
Now, it looks like we are going to be getting a taste of spring this week.
According to the meteorologists at The Weather Channel, while we may have some snow showers on Tuesday, it does appear to be the start of a warming trend. Temperatures on Tuesday will be in the low 40s.
On Wednesday, Central Maine will see partly sunny skies and temperatures in the lower 50s. The conditions on Thursday will be about the same, but the temperature will be a little cooler. On Thursday, we'll probably see highs in the lower 40s.
The warming trend will continue, though. Sunday through Thursday next week will feature temperatures in the low 50s to mid 60s.
It should not be a big surprise that the temperatures on the coast will be quite a bit cooler.
