BIW Sees Second COVID Case, Mandates Employees to Wear Cloth Masks

Facing more pressure from employees and public officials to shut down their operations, General Dynamic Bath Iron Works will make it mandatory later in the week for employees to wear cloth masks.

According to News Center Maine, the move comes just days after a second employee tested positive for coronavirus. The shipyard said that employees would have to provide their own masks and not to us e surgical or N95 style masks as those should be reserved for healthcare workers.
