Police Presence Closes Southern Maine Road – Bomb Squad En Route
According to an article on the WMTW website, a portion of Lower Guinea Road in Lebanon was closed to traffic on Thursday morning.
As of 11 AM a bomb squad was on their way to the site where a suspicious package had been spotted.
The article did say that police were saying that there was no danger to the public, but they chose to close the road out of an abundance of caution. The article also explains that members of law enforcement were not sure when the road would re-open.
