About Jake Worthington

Jake Worthington grew up in La Porte, Texas, where classic country music was always playing. Inspired by his grandfather’s porch performances of legends like Ray Price, Merle Haggard and George Jones, Worthington eventually picked up a Gibson acoustic guitar and discovered the powerful, traditional country voice that’s helping him stand out today.

Now, he’s bringing that old-school honky-tonk sound to dance halls, beer joints and ballrooms across the country. His sophomore album, When I Write The Song, features tracks like “Hello Shi**y Day” with Miranda Lambert, “I’m The One” featuring Marty Stuart and the viral favorite “It Ain’t The Whiskey.”

Worthington is also staying busy on the road this year with his headlining Intent To Tonk Tour while joining artists like Luke Combs, Luke Bryan, HARDY, Parker McCollum, Riley Green and Ian Munsick on select tour dates.
