Central Maine Man Arrested For Allegedly Kidnapping a 4-Year-Old
According to an article on the WGME website, a Waterville man is facing serious charges after police say he kidnapped a 4-year-old child early Saturday morning.
According to the Fairfield Police Department, officers were called just before 2 a.m. after receiving a report of a missing child.
Police responded immediately and began searching for the child.
Investigators say the child was later found at a home in Waterville, where officers also located 37-year-old Brandon Phair.
Phair was arrested and charged with kidnapping and criminal restraint.

The child was taken to a local hospital as a precaution and is expected to be okay.
Phair is being held on $500,000 cash bail.
