Carolina vs Denver This Sunday
The Sunday is the big game between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers. The Broncos will be the home team this year and have the option of what color jersey’s to wear. They have decided on white.
The Broncos have won Super Bowls wearing their white jersey’s, but have gone 0-4 while wearing their colored orange jerseys, so the decision seemed an easy one.
This will be the first Super Bowl not to use a Roman numeral. The Roman numeral for 50 is L, but this Super Bowl will be called Super Bowl 50, not Super Bowl L.
The game will be played in Santa Clara, California, at Levi Stadium where the San Francisco 49ers play. The last time the big game was in the San Francisco Bay area was 1985 for Super Bowl XIX between the Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers won 38-16.
The cost of advertising during the game has gone up this year to $5 million for a 30 second commercial, up from $4.5 million last year.
The big game if on February 7th this year and gets underway around 6:40 p.m. eastern time, B98.5 will have the game with the pre game starting at 2 p.m.
