Celtics Advance, Coach Stevens Snubbed

The Boston Celtic advanced to the NBA East Conference Finals by beating Philadelphia in their series 4 games to 1.

With their two best acquisitions in the off season Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward out for the playoffs the Celtics keep winning. Coach Brad Stevens has to be considered one of the best coach in the league,yet, he didn't get a single vote for Coach of the Year.

The award went to Toronto Raptors Head Coach Dwane Casey who led Toronto to the Eastern Conference Championship and a playoff spot where they lost to Cleveland.

Meanwhile the Boston Celtics and Coach Brad Stevens beat the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs and then moved on to beat Philadelphia winning the series 4 games to 1.

Even though the Celtics keep winning despite the injuries, Stevens didn't receive a single vote for Coach of the Year. Seven coaches overall where nominated by their fellow coaches and not one named Stevens.

According to nytimes.com those results sparked a social media outcry Wednesday, not necessarily because Casey won, but because Stevens was completely overlooked.

What's a guy gotta do to at least get one vote?
