A 16-year-old boy is dead and three other teens are injured following a Saturday morning crash in Livermore.

According to an article on the WCSH 6 website, the crash happened on Norlands Road in Livermore at about 10 AM on Saturday (November 18).  When police responded, they found a single vehicle had left the road and crashed into utility pole.

The driver of the vehicle was a 16-year-old boy.  The three passengers ranged in age from 16 to 17.  One of the passengers, a 16-year-old boy, passed away from his injuries at the scene.  The other three occupants were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say it appeared that speed and slippery road conditions were a factor in the crash.

Norlands Road was closed for several hours on Saturday while officials investigated. The investigation is ongoing.

The identities of the four teens have not been released, but all four were students at RSU 73.

Our thoughts go out to all those involved.
