Charges For Hallowell Man Who Left Dog In Car
Police In Hallowell have charged a man after he allegedly left his dog in a his hot car on Water Street for about 30 minutes Monday afternoon.
According to CentralMaine.com, Police chief Eric Nason said the car was parked in the sun for a half hour with the windows cracked at 2 inches. A passer by had alerted the department and officers investigated. The dog “was awake and panting,” Nason said. “The panting sets off some red flags.
