Cinderella Project of Maine 2020 Dates in Gardiner and Belfast
Prom time. Everyone who wants to wear a lovely dress should be able to just that. Because of that belief “The Cinderella Project of Maine” provides beautiful prom gowns to Maine high school students and promotes positive self-esteem and community volunteerism among teens. And they do this for free. Well, they do ask that recipients to “pay it forward” and do a good deed or random act of kindness for someone else. (my heart is melting)
There are two ways you can help out. You can donate your time to be a Fairy Godmother helping the high school girls find their look. BUT they also need you to donate new or gently used dresses and accessories. They do not accept shoes or wedding dresses…just FYI. Here are locations where you can make donations or items or a monetary donation.
