Construction Update On Interstate 95 At Exit 113

The ongoing work on the $13 million construction project continues, as road improvements get ready for the new regional hospital, the Alfond Center for Health, and the Alfond Center for Cancer Care on Old Belgrade Road.The traffic pattern for southbound Interstate 95 travelers using exit 113 will go back to its original configuration on Tuesday, ending the direct access to Old Belgrade Road. For the next week those drivers will be directed to Route 3.

Construction continues on the I-95 northbound off-ramp and on Old Belgrade Road.

The project involves creating two roundabouts and installing traffic signals at the hospital entrance and at the intersection of Route 3 and Civic Center Drive.
