
Country News: ABC Not Picking Up Reba’s T.V. Show
After seeing the pilot episode of Reba McEntire’s new T.V. show, ABC has decide to pass on the show. The show called ‘Red Blooded’ is described as a Southern Gothic soap opera. Even though ABC isn’t picking up the show it doesn’t mean the project is dead. According to theboot.com the show is being shopped around to other networks.
Two country stars will compete against each other this summer on an episode of ‘Celebrity Family Feud.’ Lee Brice and Jarrod Niemann will compete against each other with the winner receiving $25,000 for the charity of their choice. On theboot.com, celebrity Family Feud‘s third season will begin on June 11; new episodes will air each Sunday night at 8PM ET. In addition to Brice and Niemann, Kelly Clarkson will appear on the show in Season 3; she’ll face off against Amy Schumer.
Country star Scotty McCreery will be one of the artists appearing on the annual PBS National Memorial Day Concert. The 2017 show will take place on May 28th on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. According to theboot.com, the show will air live on PBS at 8pm.
