Country News: ACM Honors Line-Up, a Magical Night of Performances
The 2017 ACM Honors ceremony will be held at Nashville’s Ryman Theatre on August 23. The show will be taped and broadcast on T.V. on September 15th. It will be a magical night as the first round of performers has been announced for the show. Some on the list are George Strait, Kelsea Ballerini, Vince Gill, Toby Keith, Maren Morris, Brad Paisley and many more. According to theboot.com George Strait, Toby Keith and Kelsea Ballerini will receive special awards during the event.
After Glen Campbell died on Tuesday, many country stars shared their love for the entertainment icon. Brad Paisley called him ‘a shining light in so many ways’, David Nail said Campbell was his biggest idol and according to theboot.com Dolly Parton said Campbell was ‘one of the greatest voices of all time.’
Last week John Anderson had to cancel concerts due to an ‘undisclosed but serious medical issue.’ The good news is he is expected to make a full recovery. According to theboot.com Anderson’s official Facebook post thanked everyone for their prayers and well wishes and went on to say he will be back on the road in no time.
