
Country News: Brett Young Kicking Off Own Tour
Brett Young is hitting the road on his first ever headlining tour. On theboot.com the tour will kick off in the fall on October 14 in Virginia. He’ll hit 14 cities, mostly smaller venues. Young won’t be coming close to Maine.
The 11th annual ACM Honors ceremony will take place August 23 from the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. According to theboot.com Dolly Parton and Kelsea Ballerini will receive awards during the show and it will be recorded for playback on T.V. at a later date. Some other country stars being honored: George Strait, Eric Church, Reba McEntire, Toby Keith and more.
Cole Swindell has his 7th number one hit with Flatliner, his duet with Dierks Bentley. The song is from Swindell’s album ‘You Should Be Here.’ On theboot.com Swindell admits he doesn’t know the secret to his success but he knows one day his streak on number one hits will end. He will release on more single from his current album and is working on a new one.
