Country News: Carrie Underwood Back for Sunday Night Football
Yesterday we told you Hank Williams Jr. will be back for the opening of Monday Night Football and now comes news that Carrie Underwood will be back for Sunday Night football. It will be her fifth year of doing the opening. According to tasteofcountry.com last season the opening song was changed with a spin on her song ‘Somethin’ Bad.’ The original song was based on a Joan Jett song, ‘I Hate Myself for Loving You.’
Miranda Lambert, getting ready for rehearsals for the CMT Music Awards, got stuck in an elevator with several other people. She shared a photo of them in the elevator and said: ‘rest assured, she’s safe and armed with the essentials. She was referring to the fact that she had airplane size bottle of booze in her purse. According to tasteofcountry.com, despite being trapped with seven other people, she made the most of it.
The CMT music awards are to night and some big Hollywood name will be presenters. From the Netflix series ‘The Ranch’ stars Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson will be there as well as Johnny Galecki from The Big Bang Theory, Kathy & Hoda from the Today show, Jada Pickett Smith, Katherine Heigl and more.
