Country News: Charlie Daniels Releasing Memoir

Charlie Daniels is putting his writing talents to a different use: Later this year, he’ll release a memoir, Never Look at the Empty Seats. Due out on Oct. 24, Never Look at the Empty Seats chronicles Daniels’ childhood in post-depression North Carolina, his early days onstage with the Jaguars in the late 1950s and the Grammy Awards-earning career that country music fans know Daniels for today. In the book, Daniels tells more than six decades of stories.

Sam Hunt isn’t married (at least not yet). Hunt sparked speculation over the weekend that he was a married man when he posted a photo showing him sporting a ring on his left hand. Hunt  hasn’t walked down the aisle yet, but he does think of himself as being married. Hunt and Hannah Lee Fowler have not officially said ‘I do,’ the singer says he enjoys the feel of his wedding ring and already considers himself to be married.

Big & Rich are lining up a new album, set for release in late 2017, titled Did It for the Party.  The album’s first single is a track called ‘California.’ The new song also marks a new partnership between the duo and candy brand Twix, which will start promoting the single in Walmart stores in April.
