Country News: Garth Talks About New Tour

Garth Brooks tour is about to wrap up in the U.S. and on the tasteofcountry.com they say Brooks is hinting he and his team are working on something that will blow his North American tour away. One hint is he wants to make the stadium concerts as personal as you could in a bar. Brooks recently celebrated 6 million tickets sold on his Garth Brooks World Tour With Trisha Yearwood, making it the biggest North American tour in history and the biggest American tour in the world.

Richard Dobson — a singer and songwriter who penned songs for Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, Guy Clark, Carlene Carter and David Allan Coe, among others — died on Saturday (Dec. 16) at a hospital in Switzerland. He was 75. On tasteofcountry.com Dobson split his time between Nashville and Switzerland.

Sam Hunt says he wants to become a humanitarian like his wife Hannah Fowler. On the tasteofcountry.com he reveals when he was starting his music career, Fowler was doing missionary work in Honduras, Syria and Iraq. Their plans aren’t too clear but he hopes the couple will go on a humanitarian trip together this winter.
