Country News: Kacey Musgraves Hitting the Road in 2018

Kacey Musgraves is hitting the road in 2018 on a world tour. It's called the 2018 Oh, What a World Tour and according to tasteofcountry.com the tour won't kickoff until October 21 when she plays in Amsterdam and will continue through early November.

American Idol had a successful opening show on Sunday with 10.3 million viewers tuning in. According to tasteofcountry.com American Idol had the most viewers for the evening. Even though the numbers were good they paled in comparison to the numbers the show got in its heyday. Idol historically had 30 to 37 million viewers per show.

Russell Dickerson, who had his first ever number 1 hit with 'Yours' said he was blown away by his first nomination for an ACM Award. He's up for New Male Vocalist and said he has been shopping with his wife to find and outfit for the awards show. He told tasteofcountry.com he woke up to 10 text messages congratulating him and he said 'for what?' He had no idea.
