Country News: Keith Urban Joins Wife at Oscars

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman walked the red carpet at the Oscars on Sunday night. Urban sported a simple black tux, leaving the major fashion statement to Kidman, who wore a nude-colored Armani gown. The actress, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film Lion,(she didn’t win) had a minor fashion emergency on the way to show, the Daily Mail reports: The strap of her gown broke when she got into the car.

Lady Antebellum explain why they invited hitmaker Kelsea Ballerini and rising star Brett Young to join them on their You Look Good World Tour. Hillary Scott considers Ballerini a close friend, and Lady A are looking forward to having the up-and-comer out on the road with them. Lady A also have high hopes for Young, whose first single, “Sleep Without You,” topped the country charts. But beyond their openers’ musical talents and ability to command a crowd onstage, Lady Antebellum have found that it’s just as important to be on the road with people they genuinely enjoy being around.

Chris Lucas of LoCash and his wife Kaitlyn are expecting … again! Less than a year after welcoming a baby girl, their second child, the couple says that Baby No. 3 is on the way. Lucas tells Taste of Country that Kaitlyn is 11 weeks pregnant and due in early September, on Sept. 1 or Sept. 3. Remi McKenna Lucas was born on March 21, 2016; the Lucases also have a son, Caden, who is six.
