Country News: Loretta Lynn Broke Her Hip

Loretta Lynn fell and broke her hip last week. On theboot.com her sister Crystal Gayle asked for everyone to send love and prayers for Lynn. Gayle didn’t give much information other than Lynn is in good spirits and is as doing as well as can be expected with this type of injury.

Maren Morris has been named honorary chairwoman of the Texas Music Project. Theboot.com explains it’s a non-profit that supports music education across Texas. It was 11 years ago Morris attended a song writing camp. As part of her role a chairwomen she will assist in spreading the word on saving the arts in Texas.

If you want to hear Chris Stapleton then buy Justin Timberlake’s upcoming album Man of the Woods. According to theboot.com Stapleton is one of a few collaborations on the project.  The album is due out February 2 and the song Stapleton is on is called Say Something.
