Country News: Reba to Host This Year’s the CMA Country Christmas

This year’s CMA Country Christmas will be hosted by Reba McEntire. Reba said watching the show had become a holiday tradition for her and she is thrilled to be asked host this year. According to people.com the show will be taped at the Grand Ole Opry House. Reba is taking over for Jennifer Nettle who hosted the show for the past seven years.

Willie Nelson will headline a benefit concert for Hurricane Harvey victims on September 22 in Austin, Texas. According to theboot.com Nelson will be joined by Bonnie Rhaitt, James Taylor, Paul Simon and more for the Rebuild Texas Fund. They are looking to raise $100 million.

Theboot.com says Chase Bryant is off the market as he asked his girlfriend Kourtney Keller to marry him. Bryant dropped to one knee and proposed in the exact spot they had their first kiss. Bryant is currently on the road with Brad Paisley‘s Weekend Warrior Tour and just released his new single, “Hell If I Know,” which is available for download on iTunes.
