Country News: Rhett and Ballerini to Host CMA Fest 2017

Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini will co-host CMA Fest 2017, a three hour T.V. special featuring performances and highlights from the upcoming 2017 CMA Music Festival. Rhett will be hosting for the second year and Ballerini is on board for the first time. According to The Boot, the CMA Fest 2017 will air on ABC sometime this summer while the 2017 CMA Music Festival is scheduled for June 8-11.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill had to postpone their Soul2Soul Tour stop in Atlanta, Georgia.  The Boot says the concert had to be rescheduled because of a conflict with the NBA playoffs. The Atlanta Hawks are in the NBA playoffs and Game 3 is scheduled for this Saturday, the same day the concert was set for. The delay will only be one day as the will take to the stage on Sunday (April 23) instead of Saturday.

Rosanne Cash has been announced as one of the 2017 inductees into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame! The iconic singer-songwriter will join the Hall of Fame in October. Cash has been performing for more than 35 years and has 11 number one single as well as four Grammy Awards and numerous other awards. Joining Rosanne Cash during the October 25^th induction ceremony will be Roy Orbison and the Neville Brothers. According to The Boot the show will be televised on New Year’s eve on PBS.
