Country News: The Band Perry Going Pop
The Band Perry has announced a brand-new single, ‘Stay in the Dark,’ and revealed plans for a forthcoming new album ‘their very first pop album’ called My Bad Imagination.
They say it brings forward some of the elements we’ve always been known for as the Band Perry, while introducing our fans to all the new sounds we’ve been working with.
Darius Rucker is getting ready to introduce new music to his fans: The South Carolina native will release a new album, the followup to 2015’s Southern Style, this spring. Rucker says that he’s really excited about the work. He says there are two to three ballads, and the rest are mid-tempos or uptempos. Rucker hints that there will be a few special guests on his new set of tunes, but he declines to reveal who will appear. Expect the new album in the spring.
Little Big Town have announced three new dates for their 2017 Ryman Auditorium residency, Little Big Town at the Mother Church. New shows have been scheduled for late July and late November. Little Big Town’s new Ryman residency shows are scheduled for July 28 and 29 and Nov. 27, with additional dates scheduled to be announced later this year. Little Big Town’s new album ‘The Breaker’ is set for release on February 24.
