Country News: Trace Adkins In D.C. for Fourth

Trace Adkins will be in Washington D.C. on the Fourth of July. He will join several other performers on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol for the 37^th annual A Capitol Fourth. The show will air live on PBS and according to tasteofcountry.com Adkins will share the stage with performers like the Beach Boys, the Four Tops, the National Symphony Orchestra and more. The show airs from 8 to 9:30.

Season 13 of The Voice has an official start date for the fall, September 25. The new season will feature judges Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus and New judge Jennifer Hudson. According to tasteofcountry.com Shelton and Levine since the beginning in 2011 and expect to be back for season 14. During the next season Miley Cyrus will be replaced by Kelly Clarkson.

Just after learning he will be a first time father Dylan Scott just learned his song ‘My Girl’ has earned Gold certification from RIAA. According to tasteofcountry.com, My Girl is Dylan’s first single to go gold. Scott says he wrote the song about his wife Blair. He says the song is about his and her life.
