If you know me, you know I love to say the word stellar.  I use it to mean that something is great.  For example,  if someone asked "How was that movie?"  My response would be, "Stellar".

The definition of stellar is "relating to a star or stars".  So, in this case, one New York couple's recent engagement photos really are stellar!

According to the Daily Mail, 33 year old John Nicotera 26 year old and Erica Pendrak, recently made a trip to John's family's camp in Old Forge, New York to look out for the Neowise comet.

Erica and John, who are both educators from the Utica, New York area, have been dating for about two years.  While they met discussing basketball through Instagram, they are also big fans of everything related to space.  For example, earlier this year they wanted the historic manned SpaceX launch.

Realizing he could use the magical once in a lifetime experience of seeing the comet to take their relationship to the next level, he decided he would propose.

We wish John and Erica many years of happiness and space adventures!

The Neowise comet is only visible to the naked eye in the Northern Hemisphere every 6,800 years.  It first appeared on Jul 15th and will be visible for the remainder of the month.
