Crown Royal Sending Free Care Packages To Troops
With Veterans Day just around the corner, it's important to remember the men and women who have served. Originally called Armistice Day, commemorating the end of World War I, Veterans Day is in place to honors all of those who have served the country in war or peace and although it's largely intended to thank living veterans for their sacrifices, it is a time for us all to honor all those who have served, either living, or passed on.
One of the cool ways our Vets are being honored this year is by a partnership with Crown Royal, and the nonprofit "Packages From Home". The partnership allows people to send free care packages to U.S. troops.
According to the Crown Royal company website, they said:
"Crown Royal believes it's not what you have, it's what you give and how you give it. That's why Crown Royal is honored to partner with Packages From Hometo turn every donated Crown Royal Bag into care packages for active American military heroes around the world. Our Goal is so send 1 million bags by the end of 2020."
They are asking people to join them on this mission.
It's pretty straight up, they have listed the most requested and needed items by troops overseas and they ask that you choose up to four different items. The items will be sent to a troop free of charge in one of those iconic Crown Royal bags. You can even send along a personalized note of encouragement with the package.
You can send up to 10 care packages per person, oh, and you do have to be latest 12 years or age. Act fast this collaboration is wrapping up on November 30th.
