
Maine DEA Arrests Gardiner Man on Drug Trafficking Charges
According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety's Shannon Moss, a Gardiner man is facing aggravated drug trafficking charges after investigators seized large quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine during a search of a Gardiner home.
Maine Drug Enforcement Agency agents, along with the Maine State Police and Gardiner Police Department, executed a search warrant Thursday, September 17th, at a home on Gudrun Drive.
The search resulted in the seizure of approximately 468 grams of methamphetamine, 757 grams of fentanyl, 230 grams of cocaine hydrochloride and a firearm. Investigators estimate the street value of the drugs at about $50,000.
The search followed a three-month investigation into a suspected drug trafficking organization operating in Gardiner.
Dameon Loucks, 36, of Gardiner, was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated trafficking in Schedule W drugs, with a firearm involved in the investigation.

Loucks is being held without bail at the Kennebec County Correctional Facility.
*NOTE - All suspects are considered innocent until being found guilty in a court of law
Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing, and additional arrests are expected.
