Despite Pandemic, A Maine Man Will Attend His 55th Super Bowl
According to the KJ, A Maine man who has been to every Super Bowl will not see his streak end.
Yesterday, the NFL informed 84 year old Kennebunk resident Don Crisman that he, and his daughter, would be allowed to attend Super Bowl 55 in Tampa this February.
With the "big game's" sky high ticket prices, how has a retiree from Maine been able to go to every game? The NFL. Since 1999, they have set aside two tickets at face value for each of its super fans.
Crisman is one of two surviving members of the Never-Missed-A-Super-Bowl club. The longtime fans of the "big game" were featured in two Visa commercials in 2010. He has attended each of the previous 54 Super Bowls and has seen his beloved New England Patriots play in 11 and win six.
As for concerns about the pandemic, Crisman says that some of his family members tried to talk him out of going, but he is set on attending the game.
