Maine is a great place to be a fan of country music.

Despite how rural our state is, we get visits from all of the biggest stars in country music.  Even the ones that are so massive they typically only do stadium shows occasionally play the smaller venues here in Maine.

Over the last few years, we have been visited by Jelly Roll, Kenny Chesney, Post Malone, and Luke Combs.

It is beginning to look like the 2026 concert season is going to be just as epic.

We’ve already gotten word that we’ll be getting visits from Parker McCollum and Riley Green.

And, it seems like we are getting more concert announcements every few days.

Dylan Scott & 12/OC

Dylan Scott will be returning to Maine this March.

You’ll be able to catch him at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on March 14th, 2026.

Even cooler, he’ll be joined by one of the biggest up-and-coming country groups, Maine’s own 12/OC

Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, December 12th.

Get all the details from the Waterfront Concerts website.

Dylan Scott

Born in Louisiana in 1990, Dylan Scott first showed up on country radio in 2013 with Makin This Boy Go Crazy, a debut that spent a stretch on the airplay charts and landed him his first real wave of attention.

A follow up single came the next year, along with an EP that introduced his steady baritone to a wider crowd.

By 2016, everything changed with My Girl, the song he wrote for the woman he grew up with. It became his first number one and his first Platinum moment. His debut album arrived that same summer, and he kept the momentum rolling with Hooked, Nothing to Do Town, a Keith Whitley tribute EP, and a national anthem performance in 2023.

12/OC

12/OC started the way a lot of Maine stories do, right in the family kitchen.

Will and Reid Nichols were barely teenagers in Portland when they grabbed a couple guitars and jumped into open mic nights around town.  That backyard hobby turned into a real wave, and before long fans from every corner of Maine were showing up for them.

Their big spark came with a single that sat at number one for sixteen straight weeks on the top country station in the state, which pretty much sealed their place as the next ones to watch.  The momentum kept rolling with an Act of the Year 2025 honor at the New England Music Awards.
