El Tequila Restaurant Opening New Location

In the fall of 2019, El Tequila Mexican Restaurant opened in the old Pizza Hut location at 65 Western Avenue in Augusta.

Just a few months later, it looks as though they are already expanding.

Based on signage at the new location, and a quick call to the Augusta location, it looks as though they'll soon be opening a second location in Brunswick.

The Bath Road, Brunswick building that used to house The Black Pearl Barcade is currently being converted into the new location.

According to the staffer we spoke to, they plan to open the new location by the end of February or early March.  They plan to continue to operate the Augusta location.
