Maine Residents And Visitors Can Fish For Free This Weekend

Looking for a unique way to spend the day with mom? Well, if she is into the Maine outdoors, this could be just the thing.

According to WGME, the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife has announced that you can fish for free on Saturday, May 8th and Sunday, May 9th.

Both Mainers and non-residents are eligible for the opportunity as long as they are not otherwise prohibited from fishing.

Keep in mind that all other regulations (like limits) do apply and you do need to register.
