According to WCSH 6 and the York County Sheriff's Department, a woman from Shapleigh, who appears to have suffered some sort of medical incident, had an accident that caused her to end up on the other side of a river in Waterboro.

On Wednesday (April 10th), 65 year old Christine Morrison drove her vehicle into a boulder, sending her airborne.  She ended up sailing over the thirty foot wide river that connects Lake Sherburne and North West Pond.

It appears the driver was not seriously injured, but was taken to Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford as a precaution.
