Fundraiser Planned For Central Maine Musician Injured In Crash
If you are a frequent guest at our Central Maine live music venues, there is a really good chance that you have heard Garrett Holt play. Not only is he a great musician, he has a knack for interacting with the audience.
Sadly, several weeks ago, he was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash.
In addition to facing a long road to recovery, he has bills to pay. Because of this, a benefit concert is being put on for him.
The event, which is being put on by the "Friends of Garrett", will take place at the Augusta Elks Lodge on Civic Center Drive on Sunday, June 11th. Doors will open at 11:30. The music starts at noon.
Some of the acts booked to perform include Bob White, Tom Morin, Radio Thieves, Patrick Shepard and John Buffalo, Little Twisted, John Hasnip, Fireball Creek, and Working Class. Plus, DJ Andy Mann, of Magical Music Jam, will be spinning the music between bands.
Joe's Chuckwagon Food Truck will be there.
There'll also be a 50/50 raffle.
Tickets are just $10 and it goes toward a good cause.
