
Gardiner Police Seeking Public’s Help To ID Robbery Suspect
Gardiner Police are seeking the publics help in indentifing a robbery suspect.
The incident took place last week at the Big Apple on Brunswick Ave in Gardiner. According to a report by centralmaine.com, the store was robbed at gun point around 10:30pm last Wednesday night.
The alleged robber made believe he was about to purchase something and then when the clerk waited on him, he pulled out a gun and demanded cash. He fled on foot into the downtown Gardiner area with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A Sheriffs deputy from Kennebec County responded to the call with a K-9 and attempted to track the perpetrator without success.
The suspect is described as a white male between 5'2" and 5'6". At the time of the robbery he was wearing a blue, "Maine" sweatshirt with tan pants, and black shoes.
This investigation is active and police are asking for the publics help in identifying the suspect.
