Like several other Maine brewfests, the annual event, normally held in downtown Gardiner, will be a take home event this year.

According to the KJ, over concerns of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers have instead opted to sell bags.

Each bag will cost $75 and will include over a dozen varieties of Maine-made beer, a growler, a Holiday CD recorded by Pat Colwell and the Soul Sensations, a gift certificate to attend one of Johnson Hall's virtual shows, and a gift certificate to Jokers & Rogues Brewing Company.

The initial run will only be 300 bags, so you may want to buy yours now.

Money raised goes to support the Gardiner Main Street program.
